When we look to buy clothes, we are surrounded by fast fashion & budget retailers (H&M, Zara, Shein, Temu etc). It has become so easy to buy a cheap garments, wear it once, then throw it out.

But this industry is the second biggest consumer of water, produces 92 million tonnes of waste per year & is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions (more than international flights & maritime shipping combined)

 

This trend is affecting our attitude to clothing and damaging our planet
