Service Description

How to sew zips is one of our most requested sewing skills - so we've put together a course to help you learn different zip sewing techniques and projects We will learn how to use a zipper foot, work with different types of zip including large and small size zips, regular and invisible zips. We will create an earbud/coin case - a small project to help get to grips with using a zipper foot. Then we will learn how to make zip tabs & create an upcycled pouch from old jeans. We will then learn to create a welt pocket with a zip by making the Lexie Wristlet from Molko. Finally we will sew a simple cushion cover using an invisible zips You will need to bring Materials for each pattern (details shared once booked) Included in the cost: All Zips (colours can be chosen once booked) PDF copies of Lexie Wristlet pattern from Molko Pattern printing PLEASE NOTE - this course runs into the Easter break, if students are away we can rearrange the last session

Cancellation Policy

Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
