Service Description
Young Creatives SEW The SEW programme is focused on use of a sewing machine, learning its various functions and perfecting your sewing skills. Projects range from sewn accessories and bags to larger dressmaking projects. Why Do SEW? SEW is for those that want to create items and clothing from scratch. If you want to learn how to use a pattern, construct using different fabrics & handle a sewing machine then SEW is for you! Spring 2023 Term Spring is all about new life and regeneration - so we are taking the opportunity to turn all our scraps into something new!! We will be learn how to quilt with scraps as well as creating a collection of small projects including wipes & keychains - all using fabric scraps! All materials and haberdashery will be provided but if you have leftover fabrics at home to use please bring them along! What’s Included Patchworks fabric, equipment, haberdashery, patterns and some materials (e.g lining fabrics). Images from Joe, June & Mae
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
