A new social group for 2025! We have been lucky enough to have been donated a number of quilting rulers, ironing boards & equipment from a defunct quilting group - so we have decided to use them to start a new one!! Quilting & patchwork are incredibly mindful projects, ideal for all levels of sewer - in fact it's a great craft for beginners to work on perfecting their seam and cutting skills. This social group will be held monthly (first Sunday of the month) & everyone is welcome. You can bring along any project - why not check out our Pinterest board of suggestions - https://uk.pinterest.com/learncreateuk/quilting-club-project-ideas/ We do also have a limited selection of patchwork patterns to buy in store We do prefer pre-booking just so we know what equipment to get out ready - you can do this online or just pop us an email The club is free to attend but if possible we would welcome a £2 donation to contribute to heating, electricity and refreshments Please note - these are social sessions & although there are friendly, helpful sewers present who can help you if you're stuck, these are not taught session & everyone present will have a project to work on
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. MYO Workshops: - £10 deposit is non-refundable, this covers admin fees & workshop planning Charity Events: - We Heart Crafts Day: These sessions are non-refundable. This is to ensure we can provide all materials as well as provide a donation to Mikeysine Young Creatives & After School Clubs If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
