Service Description
Cross stitch is the first needlework I learnt as a child - making some incredibly traditional samplers which still hang in my parents hallway! The craft has come a long way and more recently there has been a huge upswing in modern patterns, kits and designs! One of my favourites is The World in Stitches - mainly because there is So Much Colour!! This project day includes one beginners kit, hoop & 4 hours to work on you kit, covering: - How to prep your fabric and using a hoop - Understanding & reading the chart - Securing your threads - Sewing cross stitches - Finishing your design to display in a hoop We have selected four kit options - please state which one you'd like when booking. Everything is supplied but you are welcome to bring your own scissors. Thos who struggle with close up work may find a small magnifying glass helpful
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
