Service Description
Knitting socks can seem really challenging - but the Magic Heel Sock patterns from The Autumn Acorn take out the trickiest element of turning a heel. This is a fantastic pattern for beginners as its easy to knit but also easy to gift as sizing is more flexible than a regular sock. We will be using the Worsted version of the pattern - this version is chunkier so quicker to knit and has a nice cable pattern (which you can leave out if you prefer) We will cover each step of the pattern: Casting on Working the cuff Cable pattern (optional) The magic heel How to graft the toe What you will need 90-120g Worsted/Aran weight yarn 4.5 mm double pointer or circular needles - or the size to obtain 20 sts + 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking stitch using your chosen yarn PLEASE CHECK YOUR GUAGE BEFORE THE WORKSHOP

Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
