Service Description

This workshop will cover the basics of sock knitting We will be working with the Rye pattern recipe from TinCanKnits., which is a simple sock pattern with a garter panel. Rye is free to download here https://tincanknits.com/pattern/rye We will work through the pattern, covering stretchy cast ons, working in the round, heels & toes Yarn (2 balls - enough for an Adult pair or two Baby/Kids pairs) is included in the cost of the course (Stylecraft Special Aran) - please select your colour when booking If you are a slow knitter we recommend making a Baby or Child size You will need some experience with knitting - knit, purl, decreasing stitches. Some experience with circular knitting is helpful but not essential You will need to bring: - 3.25mm & 3.75mm circular or double pointed needles (you may wish to bring additional sizes if you have a tight or loose gauge)

Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
