Knitting in the round is one of my favourite knitting skills to teach - it opens up a whole new collection of knitting patterns & techniques including hats, gloves, socks and seamless jumpers We will be using a free patterns from Tin Can Knits - the Barley Beanie Hat. We know everyone knits at different speeds so we will be making the newborn size - giving you the skills to try any size, as well as other hat patterns During the workshop we will learn: - How to cast on & join in the round - The Magic Loop technique - Knitting in the round - Working Rib Stich, Garter Stitch & Stockinette Stitch in the round - Decreasing in the round What's Included - Download links for patterns (please let us know if you would like a print out) - 4mm & 5mm Circular Knitting Needles - 1 ball of Aran Yarn - Scissors, tape measure, stitch markers etc Once booked we will contact you for your colour choices
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. MYO Workshops: - £10 deposit is non-refundable, this covers admin fees & workshop planning Charity Events: - We Heart Crafts Day: These sessions are non-refundable. This is to ensure we can provide all materials as well as provide a donation to Mikeysine Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
