Service Description
This workshop is ideal for those who love cozy festive clothing!! We will be making two sweatshirts - using two fab patterns, the Ellie & Mac Straight Fit Raglan Sweater (Straight Fit Adults) or Going Home Sweater (Hourglass Fit Adults & Kids) You can choose to make matching sweaters, two the same size, two different sizes - which ever combination you like. There will be an opportunity to use our overlockers if you wish but you can also use regular sewing machines. FABRIC For a Raglan Sweater you will need a stretch fabric - we recommend selecting a French Terry or similar sweatshirt fabric. We do not recommend fleece fabrics unless it has stretch and you are confident sewing with it. You can also make a T-Shirt version using jersey fabric. You will also require ribbing fabric We recommend going with a patterned fabric for the body and plain for the sleeves - but this is entirely up to you!! Once booked we will send you information about sizing, the amounts needed and recommended retailers. To make this workshop as fun as possible our tutors will cut your fabric beforehand so please ensure you drop your fabric to Learn & Create at least 1 week before the workshop date
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
