Service Description
Using this cute pattern from Ellie & Mac we will create a custom gnome with a variety of upcycled fabrics. The More, The Merrier! - Book with a friend for any Festive Workshop & both get 10% off. Select 2 participants when booking & use the code festivefriends Our aim for this project is to use as much upcycled materials as possible - not only to reduce costs but to make our gnomes as special as possible! You could use old christmas sweaters, party clothes, tableware or bedding. Your gnome does not need to be Christmas themed or upcycled - you're welcome to use whichever fabric combination you choose. The pattern is designed for woven fabrics - cotton, canvas, denim or linen are all suitable choices. For our sample we have used denim jeans, tweed scraps & leftover christmas fat quarters. Gnomes are stuffed with a combination of recycled plastic pellets (for weight) & sliced fabric scraps. There are multiple options for the gnome: - Beard (short or long) or braids - Small feet or long legs - Overalls, Apron or plain body In the workshop we will: - Select our Gnome style - Cut our pattern pieces - Follow the pattern to construct our gnome There will be a mixture of machine & hand sewing for the workshop. Depending on your choice of fabrics we may also use the overlockers What You Need: - A selection of fabrics [A list of sizes will be provided after booking, we used one fat quarter cotton, small piece of tweed & 1 childs size jeans leg] Optional - Fur fabric for beard or yarn for braids, buttons Whats Included: - Charming Plush Gnome pattern from Ellie & Mac - Stuffing - All equipment, tools & haberdashery

Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
