Service Description
We are quite often asked if we do online classes - particularly in the Winter months when the weather can be quite unpredictable! It's something we really want to trial - we love the idea of making our courses accessible to as many people as possible but we also love the personal touch you get at an in person class. So we are trialling a combination of access to video tutorials plus a Zoom workshop! For our first sewing workshop we are teaching how to sew the Crowning Glory pattern from Waves & Wild. These fabric crowns are a really great alternative to paper cracker crowns and are an ideal gift for Christmas or birthdays How will this workshop work? Once you have booked we will send you access to our Google Classroom and link to the pattern download (this is a free pattern). The Google Classroom will include some introductory videos so that you can get supplies, print your pattern & cut your pieces The Zoom workshop will cover each step of the pattern - setting up your machines, sewing your crown and finishing After the Zoom workshop additional videos will be added to the Google Classroom which you can access after the course. What you will need Sewing machine A max of 75x35cm of medium weight cotton fabric Coordinating thread Medium weight interfacing One of the following: - a maximum 7.5cm (3”) of 2.5cm (1”) hook & loop tape (velcro) - a maximum of 15cm (6”) of elastic (I like 20mm/¾” plush elastic but other types of elastic will work) - a maximum of 100cm (1 yard) ribbon Please do check additional terms and conditions for online workshops.
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
