Service Description
This course is designed for people who have not crocheted before or those with a very basic understanding. Over the 6 weeks, you will learn how to start a project, a few of the most common crochet stitches, crochet terminology, how to read crochet patterns and how to finish a project all while completing 4 projects. The 4 projects you will complete during the 6 weeks are: Project 1 - Dishcloth Project 2 - Face/wash cloth Project 3 - Crochet bobble hat Project 4 - Granny squares which could be used as coasters, or the beginning of a scarf or blanket You will need to Bring - Range of Crochet Hooks in different sizes [We do have some available to borrow but not a full set] - Yarn for projects - Stitch markers - not essential, but nice to have *specific yarn and hooks required for the projects you will complete are detailed in the pattern information below. We will Provide (but you may wish to purchase your own to use at home) - Cotton Aran yarn for Dishcloth & Face/washcloth patterns - Scissors - Measuring Tapes - Tapestry Needle Yarn & Hook Sizes PATTERN 1 - DISHCLOTH * 5mm Crochet hook PATTERN 2 - FACE/WASHCLOTH * 6mm Crochet hook PATTERN 3 - HAT * #5 Bulky/Chunky Weight Yarn - see size chart in photos * Extra yarn for pompom or pre-made faux fur pompom * 6.5 or 7mm Crochet hook OR * #4 worsted/aran Yarn - see size chart in photos * Extra yarn for pompom or pre-made faux fur pompom * 5.5 or 6mm Crochet hook PATTERN 4 - GRANNY SQUARES * Yarn of your choice- a good way to use your scraps (you can also use some of the provided yarn) * Hook to match the yarn of your choice.

Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
