Service Description
Knitting is a fantastic creative skill for young kids - it has many transferable skills to school work or everyday life. - Mathematics - Helps to develop fine motor skills - Develops Creative Expression - Continues interest in a Tradition Skill - Develops interest in creating, upcycling & repairing The club has been running for about a year now so we have a great collection of finger knitting, loom knitting & knitting projects to choose from! We recommend that P1-3 work on finger & loom patterns & P3 & up move on to needle projects - but realise everyone works at their own speed. This club is open to all schools in the area - given our proximity to Newtonmore primary we will organise a pick up service & walk any participants to the shop. We are happy to help put parents from other schools in touch with others to see if lift sharing is possible. All yarn & needles are included
Cancellation Policy
Booking - Payments must be received in full or in part when booking online. Any remaining payment must be paid by bank transfer before the course/workshop start date. Festive Friends Discount - Eligible only on Winter 2023 Festive Workshops - Participants must book together (select 2 participants when booking) Cancellations These must be received at least two weeks before the workshop starts to receive a full refund. Payment cannot be refunded if places are cancelled later that this date. Young Creatives & After School Clubs ​​If you cancel your place 14 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a full refund. If you cancel your place 7 days prior to the programme start date (e.g. by the first date of the block) you will receive a 60% refund as by this time we are likely to have purchased materials. We will not be able to refund cancellations received later than 7 days prior to the programme start date.
